Emory celebrates President Jimmy Carter’s 100th birthday

Former U.S. President and Emory University Distinguished Professor Jimmy Carter turned 100 on Oct. 1, and the Emory community joined in the celebration. Students, faculty and staff gathered in the Emory Student Center, enjoyed sweet treats and signed oversized cards for him while learning about his life and legacy of leadership.
