The women’s team is competing in its sixth-straight tournament and was selected as a host for the opening rounds, happening Nov. 16-17. The men’s team is headed to its third NCAA tournament in four years.

Both Emory soccer programs are advancing to the NCAA postseason this year, continuing a successful season where the men’s team clinched the University Athletic Association (UAA) title

The women’s team is headed to its sixth consecutive NCAA Tournament after securing an at-large bid, setting a new program record for consecutive postseason appearances. The Eagles will host the opening two rounds on their home field, happening Nov. 16-17.

Emory women’s soccer will face the Methodist Monarchs — this year’s USA South Conference Champion — at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16.

This is the program’s 22nd all-time appearance and the 14th under head coach Sue Patberg.

Emory men’s soccer will travel to Virginia to face host Lynchburg at 3:30 p.m., also on Nov. 16.

This represents the 19th overall postseason appearance for the men’s soccer program and the fourth under the leadership of Cory Greiner. This also marks the first time since the 2007 and 2008 seasons that the team has made the NCAA tournament in back-to-back seasons.
