Diversity Week serves up rich desserts and discussions at Emory

Emory students celebrated National Diversity Week in late September with thoughtful conversations on how to build a thriving and inclusive campus — and with mango lassis and macaroons.

The “Diversity of Desserts” event offered an array of treats from vendors that represent Emory’s vast cultural diversity.

Emory also featured a number of other engaging programs, including a luncheon for women in leadership at Oxford College and a traditional Chinese calligraphy, clothing and music demonstration.

The keynote panel, titled “Our Daily Work: Excellence in the Service of Humanity,” brought together leaders from across the university to explore how everyday actions contribute to an inclusive environment.
