Atlanta Global Partnerships (AGP) — a program through Emory's Office of Global Strategy and Initiatives — will host two fall 2023 Emory Passport Days for university faculty, staff and students. The events are in collaboration with Georgia State University Passport Services.

Atlanta Campus

Thursday, Nov. 16, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Boisfeuillet Jones Center, EmoryCard Office

Oxford Campus

Thursday, Nov. 30, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Phi Gamma Hall

During Emory Passport Day, Emory Free Passport Initiative (EFPI) students and members of the greater Emory community can access a convenient, on-campus appointment with a dedicated passport professional who will handle application review, payment processing and application submission. Additionally, EmoryCard will provide on-site passport photo services at a discounted rate during the Nov. 16 event on the Atlanta campus.

Emory faculty, staff and students can register online for either a first-time passport application appointment or passport renewal drop-off. All first-time passport appointments for Nov. 16 are booked, but renewals are still being accepted and can be dropped off at any time during the event.

The associated U.S. passport fees must be paid by check or money order on the day of the event.

Applicants need to bring several items to their appointment or drop-off:

  • A printed, completed application for a U.S. Passport (DS-11 for new applications or DS-82 for renewals)
  • Valid ID (driver's license or Emory ID)
  • Proof of citizenship
  • Original name change documentation (if applicable)
  • 2 x 2-inch passport photo (if not utilizing on-site photo service)
  • Check or money order

Earlier this year, EFPI and Emory Passport Day served nearly 100 individuals. With the generous support of Delta Air Lines, EFPI is once again covering U.S. passport application fees for a select group of students who receive financial aid.

Visit the U.S. Department of State website or call (877) 487-2778 for more information on passport requirements.
