COMMENCEMENT 2014
Add it up: Numbers reveal profile of graduation

The more than 4,400 students who make up Emory's Class of 2014 embody a variety of ages, backgrounds and interests. They represent nearly every state and many nations around the world — some 16 percent are international students — and include decorated veterans, award-winning student-athletes and graduates over the age of 50.

The 2014 Commencement will also be Emory's greenest ever, reflecting the university's commitment as a national leader in sustainability programs. For the first time, all undergraduate graduation gowns and some professional doctoral gowns were made entirely out of recycled plastic bottles.
