Think Pink: Students raise money to fight breast cancer with 5K Color Run

Walkers, joggers and runners of all levels registered for the inaugural 5K Color Run on Saturday, Feb. 16. The race began at 10 a.m. and the route led participants around a loop of the Emory campus. Event proceeds will benefit Emory's Winship Cancer Institute.  "We believe it's a great way for students to come out and show support of Think Pink Week to benefit breast cancer research, while also being able to participate with their friends or through an organization," said Niyeti Shah, chair of special events for the Student Programming Council. Partipants were showered with pink powder as they reached the finish line.
