Emory awarded $2.5 million prize to advance broad-spectrum antiviral drugs
The SMART Prize will support development of drugs that could treat multiple flaviviruses, which infect and kill millions every year globally. Emory professor Raymond Schinazi serves as principal investigator for the prize.
