Remembering 9/11 at Emory
The day after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, thousands of Emory students, faculty and staff came together for a candlelight vigil that filled the Quad. On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we reflect on all the lives that were lost or changed on that tragic day and honor those who work to keep us safe.

Emory alum Adam Mayblum was in the World Trade Center’s North Tower when it was struck on 9/11. Read his personal account of the day, which Emory Magazine published in 2012.
