High-dose vitamin D may improve cognition among those at risk of dementia
A study of adults with sleep disturbances and mild cognitive impairments (two hallmarks of early dementia) showed that participants taking higher amounts of vitamin D daily had higher cognitive scores. Victoria Pak of the School of Nursing led the study.

MFA + encryption: Two locks are better than one
Your email account and your email itself aren’t protected the same way — and that’s by design.
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) locks the mailbox, confirming it’s really you logging in, even if your password’s been compromised.
Encryption locks the message, so sensitive things like protected health information, personally identifiable information or financial data stays unreadable to anyone but the intended recipient.
Emory relies on both. Duo Verified Push guards your account (and this fall, it’s replacing weaker SMS and passcode methods), while adding (encrypt) or (secure) to a subject line locks down the content.
