Winship awarded prestigious lung cancer grant from National Cancer Institute

Winship Cancer Institute has been awarded a five-year, $10.9 million Specialized Program of Research Excellence grant from the NCI to advance new approaches for lung cancer treatment. It is one of only five such grants in the U.S. dedicated to lung cancer.

Emory launches bystander intervention training focused on eliminating sexual and relationship harm

A two-year self-assessment documented Emory’s ongoing enhancement of programming to eliminate sexual and relationship harm on campus. The assessment also suggested further improvements, including Green Dot, a nationally recognized evidence-based anti-violence bystander intervention training program for students, faculty and staff.
