By Erin Crews | Halle Institute | March 26, 2013
Sadhguru Vasudev, founder of the Isha Foundation and its American counterpart the Isha Institute of Inner Sciences, will give a free public talk titled "Inner Management: The Missing Link to Leadership Excellence" as the 2013 Sheth Lecturer in Indian Studies at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 14 at Emory University's Glenn Memorial Auditorium, 1652 N. Decatur Rd. NE.
Vasudev will discuss cultivating leadership as an intuitive process requiring the effective management of self before others. The event is co-sponsored by the Claus M. Halle Institute for Global Learning and Goizueta Business School.
A mystic, yogi, humanitarian, and spiritual leader, Vasudev established the Isha Foundation — a socio-spiritual organization with more than 150 centers and two million volunteers worldwide — in 1992.
He has since presented on leadership to organizations such as the World Economic Forum and World's President's Organization, served as a delegate to the United Nations Millennium Peace Summit and the World Peace Congress, and founded Project GreenHands, an ecological initiative, which earned the highest Indian environmental award in 2010.
Vasudev has authored more than 50 books and audio programs.
Admission to the public lecture is free, but registration is recommended.
