Each year, thousands of individuals donate millions of dollars to Emory, often through smaller annual gifts. These donors also provide books for the libraries, fund public lectures and art around campus, and make robust financial aid for students possible. But the Emory community rarely has the chance to say, “Your gift matters,” or “Thank you for changing lives at Emory.”
The tenth annual EmoryThanks Week, taking place Sept. 29-Oct. 3, is the perfect opportunity to do just that.
An art installation by Atlanta artist Lacey Longino will help remind passersby that gratitude is being celebrated and recognized across campus (and it will also serve as a perfect photo backdrop).
For a tangible way to get involved, any member of the Emory community can stop by multiple stations, including one on the Oxford College campus, on Tuesday, Sept. 30, and Wednesday, Oct. 1, to write a note, take photos or jump into videos to share their gratitude with Emory supporters.
Messages of gratitude for Emory supporters can also be shared on social media using #EmoryThanks.
