University staff recognized for milestone years of service

Each year, Emory University employees who reach milestone years of service (those reaching 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 and 55 years of service) are celebrated at a Service Awards Luncheon. Nearly 200 staff members were recognized by President Gregory L. Fenves and other university leaders during the 2024 luncheon on Nov. 19.

Five were honored for 45, 50 and 55 years of service to Emory:

  • Joseph T. Massey Jr., Office of Information Technology (55 years)
  • Glenda D. Drake, Campus Life (50 years)
  • Meraida Polak, School of Medicine (50 years)
  • Billie Jeanne Duke, School of Medicine (45 years)
  • Cora Jeanette Zahler, School of Medicine (45 years)
