Dooley’s Week 2024 will take home the gold
banner for Dooley Week

As spring rises this year, so does Dooley.

Dooley’s Week, the beloved yearly tradition for Emory students, is back this year April 1-5, full of events, food, music, merch and more.

The theme, “Dooley’s Olympics,” is a nod to the 2024 Summer Olympics taking place in Paris. During Dooley’s Week, Emory students will have the chance to participate in games and show off their team spirit in the namesake event.

“The student body can come together and bond over food, music, live performances and take time to enjoy an immersive experience outside of class,” says Liesl Scherrer, Student Programming Council (SPC) member and Dooley’s Week co-chair.

Scherrer is most looking forward to Tuesday’s event, but notes that every day brings something to be excited about on campus.

“It’s hard to choose which event I am most excited about since each day has its own highlights, but I love the Taste of Emory tradition that SPC recreates each year,” explains Scherrer. “This is an event specifically focused on experiencing different cuisines and vendors from Atlanta and bringing them right to Emory students.”

Flo Milli and Icona Pop are the featured artists for this year’s concert, performing Friday, April 5, at McDonough Field.

All events are free and open to Emory undergraduate students. For more details and updates, follow @EmorySPC on Instagram and check out their page on The Hub
