Emergency medical exercise to take place in Emory’s Hahn Woods Sept. 24
emergency training drill

Emory Emergency Medical Services, the Office of Critical Event Preparedness and Response (CEPAR) and Emory Emergency Medicine will conduct an emergency medical exercise at Hahn Woods on Saturday, Sept. 24. The woods are located on Houston Mill Road near Emory University’s Atlanta campus.

The training, which will allow participants to practice their skills in a field environment while collaborating with emergency medicine residents, will last from 8:30 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Approximately 75 people will take part in the exercise. Those involved will wear colored vests or EMS uniforms and signs in the area will indicate there is a disaster drill in progress.

Traffic in the area is not expected to be impacted.
