An updated version of the Healthy Emory Connect platform will launch in February, giving employees the tools they need to take better control of their health journey. Visit the Healthy Emory Connect web page to learn more.

Staying healthy doesn’t always make it to the top of our to-do lists, but personal health is important — to you and to Emory. That’s why Healthy Emory is partnering with Sharecare, a leader in health technology, to introduce a new Healthy Emory Connect online and mobile experience.

Healthy Emory Connect helps participants learn ways to be healthier. From eating better to fitness tips and stress-relief tactics, the platform recommends simple things to do every day and sends reminders to do them. Personalized insights, daily tracking, innovative programs and one-of-a-kind tools can help you live a healthier life, no matter where you are in your health journey.

The new offering also provides:

  • Access to personalized, expert-driven articles, resources and videos
  • Tools to help establish or reinforce healthy habits
  • Easy-to-use mobile and internet apps that provide access to resources you need
  • Real-time tracking of health progress

Beginning Feb. 1, benefits-eligible employees, spouses and pre-65 retirees on an Emory medical plan can access the new Healthy Emory Connect platform via mobile app or desktop computer. You’ll be able to take advantage of:

  • RealAge® test: Take this scientifically based health assessment to find out your body’s true age and get tips for improving your well-being.
  • Wellness challenges and campaigns: All of Emory’s favorites will continue to be on Healthy Emory Connect, including Move More Challenge, Operation Eat Right, Refresh from Stress and Sleep Better, Feel Better.
  • Rewards: Participate in programs and activities to earn Emory medical plan incentives and many other rewards. Spouses on an Emory medical plan can also earn medical plan incentives in 2022.

Healthy Emory’s extensive network of 140 wellness champions got a sneak peek at the new health and well-being technology, and liked what they saw.

“The new RealAge health assessment is a fun and easy way to find out your body’s true age and get tips for improving your well-being,” says Krystyna Rastorguieva, program manager with Emory Healthcare’s Employer Health Solutions.

As Kore Breault, program director at Goizueta Business School, notes, “You can create a secure, personalized profile, gain insights into your own personal health habits and track your wellness progress.”

Look for more details coming soon and plan to sign up for the new Healthy Emory Connect on Feb. 1. For information, email healthyemory@emory.edu.
