After much deliberation, Laney Emory Diversifying Graduate Education (EDGE) has chosen their 2021-2022 Fellows, in addition to a host of well-qualified and well-deserved Laney Graduate School (LGS) EDGE Ambassadors. One of the medical professionals chosen for this distinguished honor is first-year PhD in nursing student Octavia Vogel. 

Vogel will attend the Laney Graduate School-Emory Diversifying Graduate Education Annual Diversity Reception on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021, from 5 - 8 p.m. for the Laney EDGE Annual Diversity Reception at the Miller-ward Alumni House. This event will highlight the Laney EDGE Fellow and Ambassadors and the 2021-2022 Kharen Fulton Diversity Graduate Award recipient.
