Emory Healthcare CEO Jonathan S. Lewin, MD, will take part in the keynote panel with two additional health care system CEOs at the Health Connect South 2021 virtual conference.

ATLANTA – Health Connect South 2021 will hold its annual conference to promote regional health collaborations and connections this Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021. The virtual conference is committed to defining and advancing the Southeast’s role in the future of health care.

Jonathan S. Lewin, MD, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Emory Healthcare, will take part in a keynote panel with two additional health care system CEOs at 12 p.m. on Thursday. The keynote panel is entitled, “Hospital Leadership: Reflections on the Past, Present and Future of Healthcare.”

“I am looking forward to this opportunity to join several of my esteemed colleagues to discuss the current state, challenges and successes of health care during the global pandemic, along with a look toward the future,” says Lewin. “I know this will be a meaningful discussion.”

The conference gets underway Thursday with an opening session featuring Rochelle Walensky, MD, MPH, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
