Winship at Midtown facility wins 2020 Best in Atlanta Real Estate Award

The new Winship at Midtown facility is being designed to change the way cancer care is delivered to patients, winning a 2020 Best in Atlanta Real Estate Award from Atlanta Business Chronicle.

ATLANTA – Emory University Hospital Midtown and Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University won the Special-Use Deal of the Year Award last night at Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2020 Best in Atlanta Real Estate Awards for breaking ground on the 17-story Winship at Midtown cancer facility.

More than 350 people turned out for the 21stannual awards event at The Fairmont in Atlanta’s Westside.

The Winship at Midtown facility, designed to change the way cancer care is delivered to patients, broke ground in November 2019. The 450,000-square-foot facility is being built at the corner of Peachtree Street and Linden Avenue, on the campus of Emory University Hospital Midtown.

The new building is uniquely designed to put patients at the center of specialized care communities in order to deliver personalized cancer care aligned with Winship’s innovative cancer research. Winship at Midtown brings together Emory University’s excellence in scientific research with top-ranked hospital care in Georgia.
