Emory Johns Creek Hospital (EJCH) has added a new endocrinologist to its staff to care for patients with endocrine issues. Emory Healthcare endocrinologists provide specialized treatment for the full range of diseases of the glands and hormones of the body.

Ali Rizvi, MD, is a board certified, fellowship-trained endocrinologist. Prior to joining Emory Healthcare, Rizvi worked at University of South Carolina School of Medicine for more than 15 years. He says he’s excited to treat and educate patients in Johns Creek and surrounding communities.

"We’re excited to have Dr. Rizvi join our team and we’re confident that he will provide exceptional care to our patients living with diabetes, thyroid diseases and other endocrine disorders," says Marilyn Margolis, EJCH Chief Executive Officer.

"The Division of Endocrinology at Emory’s School of Medicine now has more than 40 experts specializing in diabetes, osteoporosis, metabolic bone diseases, nutrition, obesity, thyroid diseases and pituitary disorders," says Roberto Pacifici, MD, director of the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Lipids at Emory’s School of Medicine.
