Photos: 'Day On' honors Martin Luther King Jr. with day of service

Jan. 21, 2020

Members of the Emory community spent their MLK Day tackling service projects as part of Emory's Day On in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Students from Emory’s Atlanta and Oxford campuses helped with projects including clean-up and maintenance at Herbert Taylor Park and Newton County trails; assisting Atlanta Rescue Dog Café with creating sustainable dog leashes for first responders; and gleaning produce from the Oxford Organic Farm for a local food bank.

King Week events continue through Sunday, Jan. 26.
