Abundant sunshine and patches of snow greeted undergraduate students for the first day of classes last week. Spring semester courses were scheduled to begin Wednesday, Jan. 17, for undergraduates, but were delayed until Friday, Jan. 19, after the university closed for two days due to winter weather.
