Emory's Surplus Property office is sending a Valentine to the Emory community in the shape of a big sale.
All surplus items will be 50 percent off their regular prices through Monday, Feb. 15.
“Come to the showroom at 1256 Briarcliff Rd. and take advantage of these great deals that we have to offer,” says Milton Thomas, supervisor of staging and surplus property.
The special Valentine is the sale on computers: $50 each. “We don't have any laptops; desktops only,” Thomas says.
A moratorium on computer sales built up a large inventory, creating a lot of opportunity to buy a computer — “while they last," Thomas notes.
"But once they're all gone, we are out of the computer selling business completely," he adds.
Thomas also says the sale will feature a lot of office furniture of all different types, including chairs, desks, side desks, bookcases and more. Buyers should come prepared to load and leave with their purchases.
The Surplus Property office is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m.
