Deadlines approach for faculty grants and writing groups

Apply for grants and get help with writing from The Center for Faculty Development and Excellence (CFDE). Three deadlines are coming up this week and early next week for these resources from the CFDE.

  • Classroom Mini-Grants for Spring 2016: Apply by Friday, Nov. 20. These are to support activities directly related to a class you are teaching in spring semester.  Anyone currently teaching at Emory is eligible to apply and the grant maximum is $300.
  • Community Engaged Learning Grants for Spring 2016: Apply by Friday, Nov. 20. Anyone currently teaching at Emory can apply for a grant, maximum $1,500, with a proposal of how community-engaged pedagogy is leveraged to assist organizations with addressing critical community needs in the metro Atlanta area.   • 2016 CFDE Writing Groups: Apply by Monday, Nov. 23. Sign up for a series of small writing groups with different goals, groupings, frequency and format, for writing support, accountability, structure and camaraderie.  Contact Allison Adams, 404-727-5269 for more information.
