WorkLife Library offers 24-hour resources on diverse topics

Emory's WorkLife Resource Center partners with LifeCare, Inc., to offer a free WorkLife Library that is available around-the-clock for university employees. Options include live monthly webinars, moderated discussion groups and articles on a wide variety of work-life needs.

The next scheduled webinar is "Green Tips for the Home," offered on Sept. 8 from noon to 1 p.m. Topics include both ecological and economic benefits to going green, with concrete tips for use in the home.

Other webinars during the fall semester include "Managing Work & Life" on Oct. 13, "Beating Caregiver Burnout" on Nov. 10 and "Holiday Survival Guide" on Dec. 8.

To access the password-protected WorkLife Library, visit member.lifecare.com and use your employee ID to register. Users can then choose from a menu of diverse work-life topics, including adult care, childcare and parenting, pregnancy, adoption, education, special needs, finances, pets, travel and more.

Each topic includes multiple resources, ranging from articles and tip sheets to webinars, podcasts and discussion groups.
