Emory University School of Medicine graduating medical students
On Friday, March 20, a room full of excited medical students graduating from Emory University School of Medicine will gather for the greatly anticipated Match Day 2015 ceremony. At the stroke of noon, the students will eagerly open envelopes naming the destination where they will train as resident doctors. The annual event is filled with emotion as the students learn simultaneously where they are headed next on their journeys to become physicians.
The Emory students are among thousands nationwide participating in Match Day 2015. The students applied for residency positions at US teaching hospitals through the National Residency Match Program that annually matches students with residency programs.
Friday, March 20, at Noon
