Global Startups, an entrepreneurship event focused on positive Israeli business initiatives, is set for Tuesday, Feb. 24, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Goizueta Business School, room 130.
The event features speakers, an entrepreneurship panel and a networking session exploring Israel’s contributions to worldwide business and “unique position as a global ‘Silicon Valley,’” according to organizers.
Speakers include Tal Cohen and Guy Tessler; the startup panel includes Tunity and Get Lawyer.
“The promotion of a positive educational event on campus like Global Startups comes at the perfect time,” says event organizer Evan S. Marks, a BBA student in Goizueta Business School and director of membership for Emory Entrepreneurship & Venture Management. “It is important that the Emory community rally around initiatives that use education rather than negativity to bring awareness on campus.”
