Take the survey on liberal arts education

The Commission on the Liberal Arts (CoLA) encourages all of the Emory community to respond to the commission's survey.

Participants are asked to click on the link in the email that was sent April 14. Completed surveys are needed by or before Apr 30 and no later than May 5.

"We want to assess what Emory is already doing well and what we can do better to support the core values of a liberal arts education in a research university," says Robyn Fivush, psychology professor and chair of CoLA.

The survey is designed to help assess where the University is excelling and where it needs more support in terms of teaching the core values of a liberal arts education, Fivush says.

The survey will help shape Emory’s approach to the liberal arts and will also influence and support the impact of liberal arts in broader terms of higher education, she notes.

Participation in the survey will take less than 20 minutes; CoLA seeks perspectives from the diverse Emory community for its final report.
