College humanities students praise Fox Center fellowship experience

As the new academic year gets underway, the nine schools that comprise Emory University have big plans — from welcoming new deans and faculty members to organizing special events and introducing new programs of study.

Emory biologists show how the prefrontal cortex, a brain region associated with learning more flexible behaviors, can sometimes block the ability to adopt a better way to solve a problem.

Now in its fourth year, the Rose Library’s Artist & Influence series will bring actor Clifton Davis and Emory professor and author Tayari Jones together for a live conversation on Thursday, Aug. 27.
