A panel discussion entitled "Leadership and Underserved Communities" featuring Emory Provost Earl Lewis and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Andrew Young will be Thursday, April 5 at 5:30 p.m. in Room 208 of the Goizueta Business School.
The discussion will be moderated by BET Network's T.J. Holmes. The panel will engage in a "debate about leadership," according to Sam Cherribi, senior lecturer of sociology, who is instrumental in organizing the event.
In addition to Lewis and Young, participants include Hope Sullivan Masters with the Leon H. Sullivan Foundation, which is an event co-sponsor, and John Hope Bryant, CEO of the nonprofit Operation Hope. Several Emory departments are also sponsors of the event.
Prior to the discussion, Cherribi says there will be a special awards ceremony. For more information, contact Cherribi at 404-727-7909 or scherri@emory.edu.
