Emory's James Flannery named Irishman of the Year


James Flannery has been named "2012 Irishman of the Year" for service to the Irish community by the Hibernian Benevolent Society of Atlanta. The Winship Professor of the Arts and Humanities and director of the W.B. Yeats Foundation is organizing a conference at Emory in April where performers and scholars will explore the Celtic roots of Southern music.
