The Emory WorkLife Resource Center is launching its latest series of financial education workshops, "Finance Matters." These one-hour sessions are designed to help Emory faculty and staff better understand their finances and prepare for their future.
"Essentials of Personal Income Tax" on Friday, Feb. 3 will provide information about general tax preparation and planning, as well as an overview of the basics of federal taxation.
Learn how to set financial goals and invest like a pro with "Five Habits of Highly Successful Investors" on Friday, Feb. 10.
"Building a Financial Strategy" on Friday, Feb. 17 will discuss the core components of an effective financial plan and how to prioritize key financial decisions.
On Friday, Feb. 24, "Solidifying the Core - Home Ownership, Insurance and Debt" will help participants evaluate their options and refocus on building a solid foundation to strengthen their financial core.

All workshops are held in the Harland Cinema in the Dobbs University Center from noon to 1 p.m.
Sessions are free but registration is required.
