Emory University has been ranked the top university of its size contributing the greatest number of graduating seniors to the 2019 Teach For America corps. Emory is ranked #1 nationally among medium-sized schools, with 28 graduates joining Teach for America this year. 

Teach For America recruits outstanding graduates to commit to teach in high-need public schools for at least two years. The more than 3,110 individuals joining Teach for America this year will impact 51 regions across 36 states and the District of Columbia. They represent more than 640 colleges and universities. 

Teach For America’s 2019 corps is among the most diverse in its history. More than half of incoming corps members identify as people of color; 43 percent come from low-income backgrounds; and 1 in 3 are the first in their family to graduate college.
