Emory Women’s Center recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its second clinic in Johns Creek. Dozens of Emory Healthcare doctors, staff, members of the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce, and Johns Creek City Council attended the event on Feb. 19.

"We delivered 371 babies the year that we opened," says Marilyn Margolis, CEO of Emory Johns Creek Hospital. "In 2018, we delivered 1,187, and now I’m sure that our deliveries will continue to grow. We are excited to provide women and children the excellent service and care they deserve,” says Margolis.

The clinic located at 12000 Findley Rd. offers general gynecology and obstetrics services which will complement the gynecologic specialty services currently being offered at the 6335 Hospital Pkwy. location.

"We’re thrilled to open a second clinic in Johns Creek to meet the growing need of women’s health care in the area," says Penny Castellano, MD, FACOG, professor and interim chair, Department of Gynecology & Obstetrics, Emory University School of Medicine.

"Our obstetrician-gynecologists will provide routine women’s health services, minimally invasive surgical options, prenatal care and pregnant patients will deliver babies right next door at Emory Johns Creek Hospital," says Castellano.

Emory Women’s Center at Findley is staffed with board-certified obstetrician-gynecologists Clyde Jacob III, MD; Padmavathi Pagadala, MD; Dawn Russell, MD; Sejal Tamakuwala, DO and a Certified Nurse Midwife, Antoinette Lee-Gregory, CNM.

The new clinic is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. It includes 10 exam rooms, one procedure room, two nonstress test rooms and a lab draw station.
