Two new physicians at Emory Orthopaedics & Spine Center are now treating patients in Johns Creek. Oren Goltzer, MD, and Eli Garrard, MD, join a team of seven other physicians at the clinic located at 6335 Hospital Parkway in Johns Creek.

One of the new physician’s, Oren Goltzer, MD, completed residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Arizona, in Phoenix. He continued orthopaedic subspecialty training in hip and knee replacements with a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at Emory University School of Medicine.
Goltzer’s clinical specialties and areas of interest include: direct anterior hip replacement, partial knee replacements, outpatient total hip and knee replacements, complex primary and revision hip and knee replacements, patient specific knee replacements, computer navigated as well as minimally invasive hip and knee replacements.
"I am very excited to serve Johns Creek and the surrounding communities by providing consistently successful hip and knee replacements, which help patients resume the activities they used to enjoy including walking, hiking and tennis," says Goltzer.
The second new physician, Eli Garrard, MD, completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Emory University and a spine fellowship the University of Wisconsin, and he specializes in spine surgery. Garrard says he’s been fortunate to develop patient care and surgical skills under the guidance of many extraordinary mentors in Atlanta, Houston and Wisconsin.
"I know I’ll use this training daily to further patient care while striving to carry the baton as part of the next generation of spine surgeons," says Garrard.
