Atlanta mayoral candidates to appear in forum at Emory

Atlanta’s mayoral candidates will appear at a public forum on Thursday, Sept. 28, at Emory’s Glenn Memorial Auditorium.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. for a meet-and-greet session with the candidates. Doors will close at 6:45 p.m., with the program beginning promptly at 7 p.m. Candidates will field questions on a variety of topics and issues, and the program will end by 9 p.m.

Emory President Claire E. Sterk will welcome the candidates and audience members; Tracy Adkison, president of the board of the League of Women Voters of Georgia, will outline the program format. The forum will be moderated by Jocelyn Dorsey, director of editorials and public affairs as WSB-TV, which will live stream the event on its website.

The forum is co-hosted by Emory, the League of Women Voters of Georgia, and the League of Women Voters of Atlanta-Fulton County.

Parking is available in the adjacent Fishburne parking deck, 1672 N. Decatur Road.
