Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter spoke on campus Sept. 14 for the 35th annual Carter Town Hall, an Emory tradition since he became University Distinguished Professor in 1982. The beloved event gives first-year students an opportunity to hear from the Nobel Peace Prize winner in an informal, question-and-answer format.
