- Administrative Professionals Program
- Mentor Emory
Employees in leadership positions have significant responsibilities in formulating and administering policies and programs, as well as managing people and processes.
"Essentials of Leadership at Emory," which begins Jan. 26, aims to achieve Emory's goal of developing leaders who are capable of shaping the future of the organization.
"Aspiring Leaders at Emory" begins March 24 and is geared toward helping to prepare individual contributors to become people leaders and enhance the critical role of supervisors in advancing the mission of the university.
Many administrative professionals manage projects and coordinate the daily operations of their department putting their responsibilities beyond answering the phone and handling clerical details of the office.
Developing administrative professionals who demonstrate competency in these areas is the goal of the Administrative Professionals Program, which begins Jan. 27.
Mentor Emory, part of the university's Leadership Development Initiative, provides participants with one-to-one partnering that enhances the growth of the mentee and the mentor.
Fostering professional growth of its mentors and mentees; providing enhanced communication and connectivity; and giving a sense of belonging to its participants are the outcomes of Mentor Emory, which begins Feb. 19.
