After months of planning, Emory Campus Dining will transition from Sodexo to Bon Appetit over the Memorial Day weekend. The process will begin Thursday, May 21, and continue through Monday, May 25.
Diners can expect special hours and early closings during the five-day transition.
"We realize there may be some inconvenience to the community, but we've done our best to design our transition schedule to minimize disruptions," says Dave Furhman, senior director of Campus Dining. "Our apologies in advance for inconveniences you may experience."
Campus dining hours for Memorial Day Weekend and the summer are as follows:
Dobbs Market at the DUC
Summer:
All-you-care-to-eat dining open seven days per week beginning June 1. Hours may vary based on summer camps and conferences.
- Breakfast: 7:30 – 10 a.m.
- Lunch: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Dinner: 5 – 7 p.m.
Cox Hall Food Court
Transition:
(Some venues in Cox may close at 3 p.m. or be closed during transition).
- May 18-20: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- May 21: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- May 22: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (only Twisted Taco, Freshens and Green Bean)
Summer:
- Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Starbucks Oxford Road
Transition:
- May 18-21: 5:30 a.m. –10 p.m.
- May 22: 5:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- May 23-24: Closed
- May 25: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Summer:
- Monday-Friday: 5:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.
