The Emory University Woman’s Club, which has served Emory since 1919, will have its annual benefit dinner and silent auction on Saturday, March 14, at Miller-Ward Alumni House on Houston Mill Road.
Each year since 2005, the club has selected an Emory activity as beneficiary of the funds raised. This year, proceeds from the dinner will benefit Rollins School of Public Health, for enhancing scholarships for women graduate students working on women’s health issues.
Other recent beneficiaries have been the Michael C. Carlos Museum’s Field Trip Program, the Meditation Garden at Wesley Woods Hospital, Emory Children’s Center Pediatric Infusion Center, and the Vega Quartet’s Outreach Program.
The event begins with cocktails and the silent auction 6:30 p.m. Dinner follows at 7:30 p.m. Those who cannot attend are encouraged to make a donation for this year’s beneficiary.
