SAAC offers tennis camp on King Day

Emory Report | Jan. 7, 2015

A tennis day camp for kids is being offered on the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday Monday, Jan. 19, at the Student Activity and Academic Center (SAAC), located on Emory’s Clairmont Campus at 1946 Starvine Way.

Vance Exley Tennis All Sports Camp focuses on basic tennis skills, promoting healthy activity, hand-eye coordination and balance through personal attention given to each player.

The camp is for 3-year-olds to 18-year-olds with campers grouped by age and ability. No previous knowledge of or experience with tennis is required.  Campers can have a half-day (9 a.m. to noon) or full-day (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) session. Drop-off begins at 8:30 a.m. and late pick-up is available for an additional fee until 6 p.m.

Costs are $35 for half-day campers; SAAC members and Emory students with children pay $30. For full-day campers, the cost is $70, discounted to $62 for SAAC members and Emory students with children.

Register for the camp. For questions, contact Vance Exley Tennis or call 678-856-6510. Call the SAAC at 404-712-2430 or visit its website for more information.
