The Emory University Senate is seeking interested faculty, staff and students to apply to serve on Senate committees.
Committees include:
- Athletics and Recreation
- Campus Development
- Campus Life
- Environment
- Fringe Benefits
- Honorary Degree
- Library Policy
- Safety and Security
- Senate Diversity
- Transportation and Parking
Committees meet periodically during the academic year. The University Senate meets monthly during the academic year.
"If you wish to serve on one of these committees, please send your resume and a brief statement of interest to Senate Assistant Anson Koch-Rein by April 30," says Kathryn M. Yount, Asa Griggs Candler Chair of Global Health and incoming president of the University Senate.
"If you now serve on one of these committees, you do not need to re-apply," Yount says.
