TEDxEmory is Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Woodruff Health Sciences Center Auditorium (WHSCAB).
This year's speakers are from the fields of business, math, ethics, politics, medicine and more.
TEDxEmory is an independently organized TED event at Emory that strives to re-create the unique experience found at TED, where the world's leaders, thinkers, and doers congregate to share what they are most passionate about, according to student organizer Michelle Liu.
Admission is free to Emory students and for a nominal cost to Emory faculty and staff and members of the community. Lunch and refreshments throughout the day will be provided.
Last year, TEDxEmory continued to grow from its founding in 2011. Last year's conference had over 600 attendees and featured 14 incredible speakers, Liu says.
