Appreciating graduate students
By Melissa Gilstrap | Emory Report | April 8, 2014
To celebrate Graduate Student Appreciation Week, which is April 7-11, the Laney Graduate School (LGS) has organized events ranging from a movie night to a Conversation with the Dean Lisa Tedesco for informal conversation and a Q&A .
Additionally, LGS invited graduate program administrators and faculty to recommend students for a daily feature on the LGS website. The features will highlight several students from a range of programs, both doctoral and master’s. Some students will be recognized for their research, while others will be recognized for their commitment to teaching and mentoring.
The first feature, posted April 7, celebrates three doctoral students: Brittany Robinson from clinical psychology; Glenn Goodman from history; and Alex Sala de Voux from epidemiology.
