WHO:

Emory University School of Medicine graduating medical students

WHAT:

On Friday, March 21, graduating medical students at Emory University School of Medicine will congregate on campus for the greatly anticipated Match Day ceremony.  The annual event is filled with emotion as the students learn simultaneously where they are headed next on their journeys to become physicians.

At the strike of noon, the excited students tear open small white envelopes naming the destination where they will train as residents. The Emory students are among thousands nationwide who applied for residency positions at US teaching hospitals through the National Residency Match Program that annually matches students with residency programs.
