"Meet Me at Lullwater," the outdoor walking group organized by the Faculty Staff Assistance Program (FSAP), is starting up again after a winter hiatus.
The group offers a safe way to add activity during the day while socializing with coworkers and meeting new people in the Emory community. Anyone can participate.
Starting March 18, the group meets every Tuesday for six weeks at 12:15 p.m. at the gates to Lullwater Preserve, 1463 Clifton Road.
Participants can walk at their own pace, either individually or with a group. Participants at all fitness levels are welcome.
"The spring walking group at Lullwater has historically been our most popular employee walking group—our record attendance two years ago was 99 walkers!" Diane Walker, FSAP wellness coordinator, says. "This year’s six-week walking group will involve fun weekly themes and giveaways, and walkers who attend all six walks will earn a prize."
