Annual Safety Fair has info, give-aways

Personal safety and security is the theme of the annual Safety Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 2, hosted by the Emory Police Department and the Fire Safety division of Campus Services.

The fair will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Dobbs University Center.

"The purpose of the fair is to provide faculty, staff and students with information and resources to help Emory to be a safer community," says Officer Darrell Johnson of the EPD's crime prevention and community relations unit.

More than 18 organizations from Emory and beyond will participate and share information about their resources with the Emory community, including Transportation and Parking Services, the Office of Critical Event Preparedness and Response (CEPAR), the Environmental Health and Safety Office, Office of Disability Services, and the Intimate Partner Violence Working Group.

Win prizes at games such as ladder ball and corn hole toss and visit the booths for giveaways.
