Find summer office help

By Leslie King | Emory Report | March 20, 2013

Get summer help for your department by taking advantage of the Summer College Internship Program. Submit a requisition posting by Friday, March 22.

The program is open all divisions, departments, units and affiliates of Emory University and Emory Healthcare and is 10 weeks long with an option of 12 weeks.

Applicants will be currently enrolled rising sophomores, juniors or seniors at an accredited two- or four-year college or university. Each will have maintained at least a 3.0 grade point average in a declared major and be in good civil standing with their institutions.

Cost to departments is $13.88 per hour with students getting $11.10. Starting date is June 3.

The program provides departments with an exchange of service and gives students training and valuable work experience.

The program also helps University work groups manage the workload at an affordable cost, utilizing student workers specializing in the office's subject area.
