A pipeline replacement project by Atlanta Gas Light has begun on North Decatur Road and is expected to last between seven and eight weeks.


The work will take place between Clairmont Road and Haygood Drive. It will start at 9 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m. each day, avoiding the heaviest commute times.


Cliff shuttle routes will not be impacted by this project.
 

Up to two lanes on North Decatur may be closed at any time. Work requiring lane closures will follow DeKalb County traffic control guidelines with signage, cones and flaggers to assist traffic flow.

Those coming to the campus and Clifton Road during the 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. time period should consider using alternate routes, or plan travel to allow for possible delays along North Decatur Road.
