The Emory Williams Distinguished Undergraduate Teaching Award is presented to faculty members from each of Emory’s four undergraduate schools during Commencement every year.
The award was established by Emory Williams, a 1932 Emory College alumnus and longtime trustee, to recognize a record of excellence in undergraduate teaching.
Emory College of Arts and Sciences selects three award recipients, drawn from the humanities, sciences and social sciences. Each of the other undergraduate schools — Goizueta Business School, Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing and Oxford College — selects one award recipient.
The 2026 honorees are:- Elizabeth Kim, associate teaching professor in psychology and director of undergraduate studies, Emory College of Arts and Sciences
- Christine Ristaino, professor of practice in Italian studies and director of the Emory College Language Center, Emory College of Arts and Sciences
- William Wuest, professor of chemistry and Georgia Research Alliance Distinguished Investigator, Emory College of Arts and Sciences
- Jake (Jae Kwon) Jo, assistant professor in the practice of organization and management, Goizueta Business School
- Patricia Moreland, associate clinical professor , Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing
- Sarah Higinbotham, associate professor in English, Oxford College of Emory University
